Christopher Luff suffered a number of concussions or mild TBI while playing in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL), until a serious TBI in 2017 left him suffering longer term side effects. During that game in 2017 Chris didn’t realise he had been concussed. It wasn’t until after that game that he felt a bit woozy and unsteady on his feet. Previously, Chris had only taken a week or so off the game after a concussion. Following the concussion in 2017 he was out of the game for a lot longer. Here Chris talks about the symptoms and side effects he experienced, and how he hopes to help educate others on the serious nature of the injury.
