Student Re-Integration: Educational Support Resources to Assist Students Post-Brain Injury
Researchers from the University of Newcastle are interested in finding out about the educational support resources accessible to students returning to education post-brain injury. Your input will add to their knowledge and help improve practices and knowledge available to assist students who experience a TBI or ABI and attempt to return to education.
What does this study hope to achieve? This research seeks to investigate support resources available to students returning to education post-brain injury. It focuses on participant experiences, perspectives, attitudes, understandings and current practice. It will further contribute to discourse of education reform for assisting student with brain injures to transition back into the educations environment, with the appropriate resources and knowledge.
Who can participate? Any Australian individual who has returned to full-time study after experiencing a brain injury which resulted in an educational impact. Participants must be over the age of 18 as of the 1st January 2023, attended an educational institution in Australia and have graduated from their educational institution within the last ten years.
What does my participation involve? You will be asked to complete an online, anonymous survey about your experience returning to full-time study post-brain injury and the educational support resources available to you during this time. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
